Board 5 To Meet Wed. In Glendale

Plans to create an unenclosed sidewalk café at a Rego Park restaurant will be the subject of a public hearing prior to Community Board 5's next public meeting on Wednesday, July 9 in Glendale.

As announced by District Manager Gary Giordano, the session will take place at 7:30 p.m. at the Greater Ridgewood Youth Council meeting hall, located at 62-10 Myrtle Ave.

The public hearing concerns a proposal submitted by the management of the Woodhaven House restaurant to open an unenclosed sidewalk café outside their eatery at 63-98 Woodhaven Blvd. If approved, the café is expected to have 28 tables and 56 seats.

Following the public hearing, the board will hold its regular meeting. On the agenda for the session is a public forum, the report of the chairperson, a review of current alcoholic beverage license applications and committee reports.
