Two armed bandits who allegedly took cash from a Richmond Hill bodega at gunpoint during a recent stickup were reportedly caught by police after leading officers on a pursuit through local streets.
The suspects were identified by police as Jose Rodriguez, 24, of Elderts Lane in Ozone Park and Ellerbe Da Vaughn, 21, of Amsterdam Avenue in Manhattan.
Law enforcement sources said the robbery occurred at around 6:45 p.m. on Monday night, June 23 at the Quick Stop mini mart at 130-02 Atlantic Ave.
