Pregnant Woman Found Knifed To Death In So. Ozone Pk. Apt.

Unborn Child Also Dies In Homicide

On the day she was due to give birth to her child, a South Ozone Park woman was reportedly found hacked to death at her residence last Saturday evening, Oct. 25.

Police identified the victim as 25-year-old Niasha Delian, who was slain inside her home on Lefferts Boulevard near 109th Avenue.

According to law enforcement sources, the victim's body was discovered at her first-floor apartment at around 7:40 p.m. last Saturday night.

Members of the 106th Precinct responded to the scene after receiving 911 calls regarding the incident.

Police determined that the victim had been stabbed multiple times about her chest. Emergency medical technicians responded to the scene later and pronounced Delian and her unborn child dead.

As of press time, no arrests have been made in connection with the stabbing.

The investigation is ongoing and is being conducted by the 106th Precinct Detective Squad, police said.
