Week 11 Start 'Em/Sit 'Em
      In many leagues, this is tradedeadline week. It never hurts to give your squad one final lookthrough and identify who your horses are and which players are expendable. With bye weeks out the window, it's a good time to do away with some of your depth and just focus on building the best starting lineup possible.

      U8s Gottschee's U8A continued their winning ways over the weekend upending the Brooklyn Patriots 6-1.

St. Pancras Holds Court At Home
      Several St. Pancras basketball teams saw action this past weekend at home. Cadet Girls On Sunday, the Cadets (ninth grade) continued their success this season on the hardwood by narrowly defeating guest team St. Stan's in overtime, 36-35. The Cougars broke out strong from the start, combining fast breaks and inside scoring to lead 9-1 at the end of the first quarter.

Dragons Struggle Against Opponents
      Facing the toughest part of their schedule, the Dragons went to Sacred Heart in Glendale on Saturday afternoon looking to rebound from last week's loss. A strong defensive effort from the outset kept St. Margaret's in thegame, although Sacred Heart was able to score on a few fast breaks toward the end of the quarter to take an 8- 4 lead.

Our Lady Of Hope Heads To The Finals
      On Sunday, Nov. 9, the Our Lady of Hope seventh grade girls' soccer team played an unbelievable game against Sacred Heart of Bayside at Juniper Valley Park. The semifinal match ended 5-0. They will be playing the Championship game against St. Frances DeSales.

Jimmie Johnson Can Taste The Sprint Cup
      Jimmie Johnson won Sunday's Checker O'Reilly Auto Parts 500 at Phoenix International Raceway, and is now 141 points ahead of second place driver Carl Edwards. If Johnson finishes 36th or better in next Sunday's final race at Homestead, Florida, he will capture his third consecutive Sprint Cup championship.
