Sharing The Sound Of Success
Sharing The Sound Of Success Students at Maspeth's Martin Luther High School showed their enthusiasm as their participation in the MLHS Walk-A-Thon raised over $10,000 for school improvements. As noted, the funds collected this year will be used to purchase and install a sound system in the school's gymnasium, and to make additional improvements in that space. Walk-A-Thon Works For Them Several hundred students and teachers participated in Christ the King Regional High School's Third Annual Walk-A-Thon, which raised over $23,000 to support extracurricular clubs at the Middle Village high school. As noted, the Oct. 20 event, coordinated by Steve Giusto, director of student affairs at Christ the King, enabled students to contribute their collected donations to the club of their choice. |
