Students Get Taste Of Something Special Third graders at Glendale's Sacred Heart School who have been studying Japan received a special treat recently, when they experienced Japanese food during a private seating at the Shiro of Japan restaurant in The Shops at Atlas Park. In learning about Japanese food and its preparation, the children were delighted and amazed as they watched the chefs at work. The students learned how to make California Rolls, thanks to their hosts, and some got the opportunity to serve as "helper chefs." More ... |
