Church Holds Fund-Raiser With A Flip
      United Methodist Church of Glendale held a Pancake Breakfast event last Saturday morning, Feb. 7. Pastor Philp Hardt welcomed one and all to the fund-raiser, including State Sen. Joseph Addabbo Jr. They are pictured, seated at center, among some of the other attendees. Nearly 200 turned out to support the event while enjoying a hot breakfast.

MV Girl Wins 'Grand' Prize
      Zara Nappa of Middle Village won the Schwinn bicycle donated by the Grand Bicycle Center on Grand Avenue in Maspeth. Her winning raffle ticket was drawn at the Maspeth Chamber of Commerce holiday tree lighting ceremony in December.
