They Pitch In To Make Precinct Greener

Seeking to make the 104th Precinct a more beautiful place, local volunteers and members of the command’s Explorers program recently worked to plant flowers and shrubs around the exterior of the Ridgewood stationhouse. As described, the project was conducted as a public service to the precinct with materials donated by the Parks Department and local garden supply stores. The workers are shown in the photo along with Deputy Inspector Keith Green (second from left), commanding officer of the 104th Precinct, who expressed his appreciation for the groups effort. The group included George Schad (at left), landscape designer Henry Muller (third from left), P.O. Elevina Dove of the 104th Precinct Youth Unit (background), and (at right) Explorers Stephanie Reynoso and Angela Suren. Not pictured are Explorers Alejandro Morales, Ernest Morocho and Johan Tavares.
