PAULINE M. HOERRNER (nee Schmidt) of Glendale died on November 7, 2009 at the age of 93. A native of Queens, she was the widow of the late Frederick, devoted mother of Paul F., August J. (both Hoerrner) and Carol A. Ficarrotta and fond grandmother of Paul Jr., Jeanine, A.J., Petra (all Hoerrner), Suzanne Friend, Angela, Jacqueline (both Ficarrotta), Pauline Garofano, Patrick and Lucianna (both Basilice); also survived by great-grandchildren Ava, Felix (both Hoerrner), Jake, Samantha (both Friend), Lilly, Brian (both Garofano), Alexander Basilice and John Messina. Services will be held at 10 a.m. today, November 12, at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, to be followed by interment in All Faiths Cemetery under the direction of the George Werst Funeral Home, 71-41 Cooper Avenue, Glendale.

 

+++ ANNA SCHEMITSCH of Glendale died on November 2, 2009 at the age of 94. A native of Yugoslavia, she was the widow of the late John, devoted mother of Bernard, Helga and John, fond grandmother of Stephen and Carolyn; also survived by greatgrandchildren Alex and Max. Mass of Christian Burial was offered at Sacred Heart Church followed by interment in St. John’s Cemetery under the direction of the George Werst Funeral Home, 71-41 Cooper Avenue, Glendale.

+++ FREDERICK KAMPS died on November 5, 2009 at the age of 68. He was the beloved father of Keith Kamps, father-in-law of Antonia, dear brother of John, Dorothy and Cynthia and fond grandfather of Angela and Daniela. Religious services were held at the Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Avenue, Maspeth. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today, November 12, at the Papavero Funeral Home, to be followed by cremation at Fresh Pond Crematory.

+++ EDITH M. WILLIAMS died on November 7, 2009. She was the widow of the late Raymond, devoted mother of Patricia, Raymond III, Iris Williams Reese and the late Aletha Williams, dear sister of Malvina, Junior and David, fond grandmother of Richard, Ramel, Eraina, Raymond, Evelyn, Curtis, Gerald and Glenn, and beloved friend of Jeff; also survived by six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Finn and the late James Jr. and Kathleen (both Finn), dear sister of Kay Bell and Larry Ryan, and fond grandmother of Frank, Nicole, Angela, Anatol, Kelly, Danielle, Vincent and Maureen. He was the husband of the late Elvira, devoted father of Cilia Gallo and Joseph Falce, father-in-law of Mary Ann, dear brother of Igino, Mario, Ida and Suroe Clarice, and fond grandfather of Dawn, Megan, Michael and Matthew; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
