MARY H. LAUN of Glendale died on June 14, 2010 at the age of 85. A native of Brooklyn, she was the widow of the late Richard and devoted mother of Nancy Zambelli, Carol Widdows and Richard B. Laun; also survived by four grandchildren. Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. today, June 17, at the George Werst Funeral Home, 71-41 Cooper Avenue, Glendale, followed by cremation at Fresh Pond Crematory.

+++ DORIS J. KORNRUMPF (nee Lapiere) died on June 12, 2010 at the age of 85. A native of Brooklyn, she was the widow of the late Harold G. Kornrumpf, devoted mother of Jean Small and John Kornrumpf, dear grandmother of Becky, Amy and Emma Kornrumpf and fond greatgrandmother of Rudy Kornrumpf. Services will be officiated by Rev. Philip Hardt at 8 p.m. today, June 17, at the George Werst Funeral Home, 71-41 Cooper Avenue, Glendale. Interment will be in Calverton National Cemetery, leaving from the George Werst Funeral Home at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 18.

+++ FRANCISCO GIL died on June 10, 2010 at the age of 91. He was the husband of the late Aura, devoted father of Lucia, Hernan and Maria Lopez, and fond grandfather of Christian, Lisa, Pedro Pablo and Stefanie. Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Adalbert’s Church followed by entombment at St. John’s Cemetery under the direction of the Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Avenue, Maspeth.

+++ AIDA VITO MORALES died in the Bronx on June 9, 2010 at the age of 74. She was the beloved wife of Ismael, devoted mother of Eliza V. Mitchell and the late Narciso Agulto Jr. and Divina Gracia Agulto, dear sister of Dolores Manalastas, and fond grandmother of Jemel Agulto and Alyssa Mitchell. Religious services were held at the Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Avenue, Maspeth, followed by entombment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

+++ WALTER C. SCHEFFLIN of Ridgewood died on June 12, 2010 at the age of 89. A native of Brooklyn, he was the husband of the late May, devoted father of Carol Schefflin, Susan Denino and Michael Schefflin; also survived by four grandchildren. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Mass of Christian Burial was offered at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church followed by interment in Linden Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood Chapels, 663 Grandview Avenue, Ridgewood.

LASZLO KOLARIK of Ridgewood died on June 8, 2010 at the age of 76. A native of Hungary, he was the beloved husband of Irma and devoted father of Lawrence Kolarik; also survived by two grandchildren.
