DEATH NOTICES

KAREN M. BARDROFF of Pennsylvania died on June 28, 2010 at the age of 41. A native of Glendale, she was the loving daughter of Marilyn Loeb and Raymond Bardroff, stepdaughter of Alisinia Bardroff and Daniel Loeb, dear sister of Sharon McDermott and Raymond and Daniel Bardroff, and devoted partner of Kathi. Services were held at the George Werst Funeral Home, 71-41 Cooper Avenue, Glendale. Visitation will be on Friday, July 2 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., to be followed by cremation at Fresh Pond Crematory.

+++ MOHEB DIMYAN of Forest Hills died on June 27, 2010 at the age of 71. A native of Egypt, he was the beloved husband of Wedad and devoted father of Fred Dimyan. Services were held at St. Mary & St. Antonios Coptic Church followed by interment in Linden Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood Chapels, 663 Grandview Avenue, Ridgewood.

+++ WOLFGANG M. OTTO of Ridgewood died on June 24, 2010 at the age of 75. He was a native of Germany. Services were held at the Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood Chapels, 663 Grandview Avenue, Ridgewood, followed by cremation in Fresh Pond Crematory. ERICH SCHMIDT of Ridgewood died on June 19, 2010 at the age of 81. He was a native of Torscha, Yugoslavia. Services were officiated at the Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood Chapels, 663 Grandview Avenue, Ridgewood by Rev. Thomas Goodhart, followed by interment in Linden Hill Cemetery.

+++ ROSE MARRONE died on June 24, 2010 at the age of 95. She was the widow of the late Michael, devoted mother of the late Vincent and Michael and fond aunt of Frances, Sarah, Maria, Anthony, Sal and Nicholas. Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Adalbert’s Church followed by interment in All Faiths Cemetery under the direction of the Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Avenue, Maspeth.

A native of Ridgewood, she was the dear aunt of Laura Giacalone and Kathy Beaulieu and great-aunt of Robert and Brian Giacalone and Michelle and Alex Beaulieu. She was a lector at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church. Mass of Chrisitan Burial was offered at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church followed by interment in St. Charles Cemetery under the direction of the Peter J. Geis Funeral Home, 57-34 Catalpa
