Six teenagers spent part of their summer vacation inside
jail cells after being caught allegedly vandalizing tombstones
at two cemeteries in Glendale and Middle Village in two separate
incidents this past week, it was reported.
The long awaited reopening
of the Ridgewood Y (formerly
known as the Catalpa YMCA)
is only months away, as construction
crews are putting the
finishing touches on the renovation,
restoration and reconstruction
of the facility.
