DEATH NOTICES

ALFRED H. MULLENBROCK, 78, of the Holiday Heights section of Berkeley Township, New Jersey, died on Friday July 30, 2010 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. He was born in Brooklyn and lived in Queens prior to moving to Holiday Heights 15 years ago. He was in the United States Air Force serving in the Korean War. He was a supervisor for Chase-Manhattan Bank. He was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Manchester, New Jersey, Free and Accepted Mason and a member of the Scottish Rite. He is survived by his wife Margaret (nee Voege). One son Richard and his wife Cheryl of Staten Island, and one daughter Karen and her husband Paul VanderVlis of Staten Island. One brother Walter of Richmond, Virginia. Three grandchildren Steven, Patricia and Alex. The family received friends on Sunday August 1 and Monday, August 2, with an evening service at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River, NJ 08755. Burial was on Tuesday, August 3 at the New Jersey Veterans Cemetery in Arneytown, New Jersey. +++ JENNI SEVERINO died on July 31, 2010 at the age of 94. She was the widow of the late Cono, dear sister of Marie Smith, Toni Cimino and the late Louis Cimino, Daniel Cimino, Ann Sapienza and Vicky Tinnelly, and sister-in-law of Joan Cimino. +++ SALAVATORE SEMINARA died on July 29, 2010 in Waxhaw, North Carolina, at the age of 93. He was the husband of the late Clara, devoted father of Elaine Brode and Christine Emmerich, father-in-law of Joseph and Robert, dear grandfather of Christopher, Allison, Cindy, Joseph and Kimberly, and great-grandfather of Briana, Robert, Nicholas and Brian. He was a U.S. Army veteran who served during World War II. +++ ANGELINA T. BARONE died on July 27, 2010 at the age of 74. She was the devoted mother of Anthony J. Barone, mother-in-law of Lisa, dear sister of Salvatore Fornaro and Mary Ann Giacobbe, and fond grandmother of John and Michael. +++ GLORIA HAYN died on Tuesday, July 27 at the age of 65. She was the loving daughter of Carmela C. and the late Anthony J. Pedace. +++ REGINA F. STAAB of the Liberty Park section of Glendale died on July 31, 2010 at the age of 88 1/2. She was the beloved wife of William J. Staab Sr., devoted mother of Barbara Ann Wissent, Robert W. Staab and William J. Staab Jr., loving daughter of William F. and Florence P. Concannon, dear sister of William F. and Robert E. Concannon; also survived by eight grandchildren and three grear-grandchildren. She was a member of numerous charitable organizations. Mass of Christian Burial was offered by Rev. John F. Hartmann at St. Pancras Church followed by cre- mation at Fresh Pond Crematory and interment of cremated remains in St. John’s Cemetery under the direction of the Glendale Walsh-LaBella & Son Funeral Home, 70-17 Cooper Avenue, Glendale.

+++ TRINCU MITER of Glendale died on August 2, 2010 at the age of 79. A native of Vladamirovic, Yugoslavia, he was the beloved husband of Minodora Radviol and devoted father of Gina Miter, Vikentile Miter and Petar Miter; also survived by four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services were officiated by Rev. Viorel Dimitrescu at Descent of the Holy Spirit Romanian Orthodox Church followed by interment in Cypress Hills Cemetery under the direction of the Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood Chapels, 663 Grandview Avenue, Ridgewood.

+++ SAJMA STOJKOVIC of Flushing died on August 1, 2010 at the age of 48. A native of Trebinje, Yugoslavia, she was the beloved wife of Aleksa Stojkovic, devoted mother of Stevan Stojkovic, devoted daughter of Milka Medunjanin and dear sister of Sejo Medunjanin. Services were held at the Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood Chapels, 663 Grandview Avenue, Ridgewood, followed by interment in Linden Hill Cemetery.
