DEATH NOTICES ALFRED H. MULLENBROCK, 78, of the Holiday Heights section of Berkeley Township, New Jersey, died on Friday July 30, 2010 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. He was born in Brooklyn and lived in Queens prior to moving to Holiday Heights 15 years ago. He was in the United States Air Force serving in the Korean War. He was a supervisor for Chase-Manhattan Bank. He was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Manchester, New Jersey, Free and Accepted Mason and a member of the Scottish Rite. He is survived by his wife Margaret (nee Voege). One son Richard and his wife Cheryl of Staten Island, and one daughter Karen and her husband Paul VanderVlis of Staten Island. One brother Walter of Richmond, Virginia. Three grandchildren Steven, Patricia and Alex. The family received friends on Sunday August 1 and Monday, August 2, with an evening service at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River, NJ 08755. Burial was on Tuesday, August 3 at the New Jersey Veterans Cemetery in Arneytown, New Jersey. He was the husband of the late Clara, devoted father of Elaine Brode and Christine Emmerich, father-in-law of Joseph and Robert, dear grandfather of Christopher, Allison, Cindy, Joseph and Kimberly, and great-grandfather of Briana, Robert, Nicholas and Brian. He was a U.S. Army veteran who served during World War II. A native of Trebinje, Yugoslavia, she was the beloved wife of Aleksa Stojkovic, devoted mother of Stevan Stojkovic, devoted daughter of Milka Medunjanin and dear sister of Sejo Medunjanin. Services were held at the Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood Chapels, 663 Grandview Avenue, Ridgewood, followed by interment in Linden Hill Cemetery. +++
