DEATH NOTICES

+++ BETTY PATRICIA BREMER of Queens died on Wednesday, Mar. 16, at the age of 86. She was the widow of Thomas Bramer, who died in 1975. Born in Cass, Mich. on February 23, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Lillian Gichorn Steffen, devoted mother of Thomas, William and Charles, loving grandmother of Thomas III, Kelly Anne Hoffman, Timothy, Charles and Kyle and great-grandmother of Joseph Thomas and Hannah. She was a longtime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 7336 in Glendale, DAV Chapter 118 in Glendale, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Continental Post 1424 in Forest Hills, the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 32 and the Veterans of the Vietnam War National Headquarters. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Pancras Church, Glendale, followed by interment at Cypress Hills Cemetery, under the direction of Glendale Walsh-LaBella Funeral Home, 70-17 Cooper Ave., Glendale.

+++ ALPHONSE LATTANZIO (nee Mirsh) died on Friday, March 18, at the age of 82. A life-long resident of Judge Street in Williamsburg, he was the husband of the late Theresa, loving father of Anthony and Vincent, cherished grandfather of Thaddeus and Anthony and dear brother of Lucy Perna, Joseph Lattanzio and the late James Lattanzio. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Nicholas Church, Williamsburg, on Saturday, March 26, at 9:30 a.m., followed by interment at Mount St. Mary’s Cemetery, Flushing, under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

+++ ANGELINA V. DONATO died on Sunday, March 20, at the age of 82. She was the loving mother of Danilo D. Gonzales, Teresita D. Gonzales, Yolanda D. Gonzales, Evelyn G. Mendoza, Cesar D. Gonzales and the late Lorna D. Gonzales, mother-inlaw of Elizabeth, Gina and Fernando, cherished grandmother of Marie Joyce, Paul, Adette, Martes, Danielle, Allan, Karl, Allysa, Alma and Aleana and great-grandmother of Gabby and Enzo. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Mary’s Church, Woodside, on Saturday, March 26, at 9:45 a.m., followed by interment at St. Michael Cemetery, East Elmhurst, under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

+++ ANNA SPAGNUOLO of Ridgewood died on Friday, March 18, at the age of 93. She was the wife of the late Dominick and devoted mother of Robert Spagnuolo. A Mass of Chrstian Burial was offered at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Woodhaven, followed by interment at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, L.I., under the direction of George Werst Funeral Home, A Dignity Provider, 71-41 Cooper Ave., Glendale.

+++ WALTER SHEA of Glendale died on Tuesday, March 8, at the age of 76. He was the beloved husband of Margret Shea, devoted father of Karen Andrews and dear brother of William Shea and Helen Bonner. Services were offered by Rev. Thomas Goodhart at George Werst Funeral Home, A Dignity Provider, 71-41 Cooper Ave., Glendale, followed by private cremation.

+++ THOMAS J. BUJKA died on Saturday, March 19, at the age of 57. He was the cherished son of Eva and the late Gustav, beloved father of Justin, Joseph, Michael and Alexandra and loving brother of Elizabeth. Services were offered at Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth, followed by interment at Calvary Cemetery, Woodside.

+++ EDWARD F. RYBICKI of Ridgewood died on Friday, March 18, at the age of 89. A native of the Bronx, he was the husband of the late Matilda and devoted father of Stephen, Edward, Michael and James. He is also survived by four grandchildren. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy who served with the Leyte Gulf Pacific Fleet during World War II. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Matthias Church, Ridgewood, followed by interment at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, L.I., under the direction of Peter J. Geis Funeral Home, 57-34 Catalpa Ave., Ridgewood.

+++ ETHEL SABO of Ridgewood died on Sunday, March 20, at the age of 81. A native of Ridgewood, she was the fond cousin of Claudia David Heitler. Cremation was privately held under the direction of Peter J. Geis Funeral Home, 57-34 Catalpa Ave., Ridgewood. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.

+++ ANNA K. TIETJEN of Ridgewood died on Monday, March 21, at the age of 91. A native of Bavaria, Germany, she was the wife of the late John and devoted mother of Loretta Tietjen and Rudy Tietjen. Services were offered at Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood Chapels, 663 Grandview Ave., Ridgewood, followed by interment at St. John Cemetery, Middle Village.

+++ JEREMIAH C. WOLFE died on Saturday, March 12, at the age of 64. A U.S. Air Force veteran who served during the Vietnam War, he was the beloved husband of Irene, loving father of Christopher, Michelle, Thomas and Jeremiah, dear brother of Donald, Roy, Marilyn and Billy, cherished grandfather of Alyssa, Taylor, Amber, Isaiah, Justin and Ashley and great-grandfather of Mason, Lyla and Aiden. Funeral services were held at Papavero Funeral Home, 72- 27 Grand Ave., Maspeth, followed by interment at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, L.I.
