Police Seek Donors For 104th Pct. Blood Drive Able-bodied adults young and old are invited to give the gift of life at a blood drive hosted by the 104th Precinct and the New York Blood Center this Wednesday, Aug. 31. As announced, the drive will take place from 7:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the precinct’s Ridgewood stationhouse, located at 64-02 Catalpa Ave. Donors must be between 16 and 76 years of age, weigh at least 110 lbs. and be in general good health. Sixteen-year-old donors must present a completed NYBC consent form from their parent or legal guardian, and all donors 76 years of age and older must have a note from their physician. A valid ID with a picture or signature must be presented upon registration. Prospective donors are advised to eat well and drink plenty of fluids before donating. Anyone who has had a tattoo in the last 12 months is ineligible to donate. For questions regarding medical eligibility, call the NYBC at 1-800- 688-0900.
