DEATH NOTICES MARIE HALLAM (nee FRIEDRICH) of Victorian Manor, Hollywood, Fla., formerly of Ridgewood, died onMonday, August 29, at the age of 96. She was the loving mother of Jacqueline La Fluer of Norwood, N.C., and Arelene and Michael Schlachter of New Fairfield, Conn., loving grandmother of the late Michael Schlachter, Susan Kershaw, Jill Cherry, Christian Schlachter, Billie Lee Conforti, Sandy Bonner and Maureen Miller and loving greatgrandmohter of Casey Kershaw, Ryan Kershaw, Alyson Kershaw, Dylan Cherry, Tyler Cherry, Kayla Schlachter, Nicholaus Schlachter, Kaitlin Conforti and Robin, Patrick and Kirstin Bonner. She was also the beloved aunt of Vivian Harriett, Robert Meditz, Joan Martin, Barbrann Lake, Patricia Rucker and George and Michael Friedrich. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Sacred Heart Church, Patterson, N.Y., folowed by a private cremation. Her remains will be placed in a family plot in St. John Cemetery, Middle Village. FRIEDA T. DRISCOLL (nee JACKLITSCH) died on Tuesday, August 30, at the age of 92. She was the wife of the late Edward, devoted mother of Kevin and Deirdre Willin and beloved grandmother of Shane, Kyle, Tara, Monica and Eric. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, Ridgewood, followed by interment at Linden Hill Cemetery, Ridgewood, under the direction of Hess-Miller Funeral Home, 64-19 Metropolitan Ave., Middle Village. MICHAEL J. KOSLOW died on Saturday, September 3, at the age of 91. He was the beloved husband of Joan T. Koslow, loving father of Denise Casey and Michael Koslow, father-in-law of Kathy and cherished grandfather of Sean, Elizabeth, Michael and Jason. He was a U.S. Army veteran who served during World War II. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Wednesday, September 7, at St. Stanislaus Church, Maspeth, followed by interment at Long Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale, L.I., under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth. GERTRUDE D. AUMAN of Ridgewood died on Wednesday, August 31, at the age of 81. A native of Brooklyn, she was the wife of the late William Sr., devoted mother of Mary Kay and Aida, William and Esther, Jacqueline and J.R., Agnes and Ralf, James and Lottie, John and Cynthia and the late Rosemarie Auman and loving daughter of George Eckhardt and Mary McDonough. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. ROBERT SCHLOSSER of Beach Lake, Pa. died on Wednesday, August 31, at the age of 69. A native of Brooklyn, he was the beloved husband of Dorothy, devoted father of Michael Schlosser, Robin Schlosser, Robert Schlosser and Diane Schlosser Brewer and dear brother of John Schlosser, Joseph Schlosser, Kevin Schlosser, Vincent Sclosser, Patricia Curiale and Joanne Kitz. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
