Animal Adoption Day At Forest Park

Every dog (and cat) had their day in the sun at an animal adoption awareness event hosted by Assemblyman Mike Miller and State Sen. Joseph Addabbo last Saturday, June 2, in the parking lot of Forest Park’s Seuffert Bandshell. Pet lovers got a chance to adopt from several rescue shelters in attendance and received information from various groups taking part in the program, including the Mayor’s Alliance for New York City’s Animals, the New York City Feral Cat Initiative and the ASPCA. Miller and Addabbo are shown with some of the participants. Every dog (and cat) had their day in the sun at an animal adoption awareness event hosted by Assemblyman Mike Miller and State Sen.
