Gunned Down In Ridgewood
Bullet To Head Claims Bushwick Teen
A Bushwick teenager who was shot in the head by an unidentified gunman on the Brooklyn/Queens border in Ridgewood early last Saturday morning, Nov. 24, has died from his injuries, police reported.
Jorge Rosario, 17, of Irving Avenue succumbed to his injuries on Monday, Nov. 26, while in treatment at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center.
Rosario was reportedly gunned down outside a location on Wyckoff Avenue near Hancock Street just after midnight on Saturday. The circumstances surrounding the shooting remains under investigation.
Officers from the 83rd and 104th precincts, along with EMS units, responded to the scene after receiving 911 calls about the gunfire.
No arrests have been made, and the ongoing investigation is being conducted by the 83rd Precinct Detective Squad and the Brooklyn North Homicide Squad, police said.
