Richmond Hill House Scorched By Fire



No injuries were reported after a one-alarm fire engulfed a Richmond Hill home early last Friday morning, Nov. 23, Fire Department sources said. The blaze reportedly ignited at around 4:40 a.m. inside the residence located in the vicinity of 92nd Avenue and 112th Street. Responding to the scene (in the order of their arrival) were members of Engine companies 294, 308, 293, 305 and 298; Squad companies 270 and 288; Ladder companies 143, 142, 126, 151 and 127; Rescue 4 and Battalions 51, 50, 39 and 46—under the direction of Division 14—along with the 102nd Precinct and EMS units. Four hose lines were reportedly used by firefighters to bring the inferno under control.
