Security video that the NYPD released early in the morning on July 16 shows a recent shooting on a Bushwick street in which a gunman opened fire on a car with pedestrians walking by.

Authorities are asking for assistance in locating and identifying the suspect, identified as a Hispanic male, last seen wearing a red T-shirt, black shorts, red sneakers and carrying a black backpack, and his three cohorts wanted for questioning in connection to last week’s shooting.

According to police, the shooting took place on July 8 at 9 p.m. in front of 341 Knickerbocker Ave., where the suspect discharged his firearm several times, striking the passenger side of a 2005 Kia Sedona minivan. The 41-year-old occupant of the vehicle was not injured, law enforcement agents said.

In the video, the suspect can be seen firing his weapon and then fleeing with the three other suspects.

Skateboarder wanted for groping

Police are looking for a skateboarder who they say grabbed a woman’s buttocks as he whizzed by her on a Woodside street.

The 24-year-old victim was walking on 61st Street near Queens Boulevard at about 7:40 p.m. on July 10 when the suspect rode past her and grabbed her behind before fleeing, according to authorities.

Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.

Wanted for attempted daytime mugging at Queens Plaza

Police have released a sketch of a suspect wanted in connection with an attempted daytime mugging of a teenager at Queens Plaza in Long Island City last month.

According to authorities, the incident occurred at 5:45 p.m. on June 22 in front of a location on Queens Plaza South near 28th Street.


Sketch courtesy of NYPD Sketch courtesy of NYPD Reportedly, the suspect and four unidentified males approached the 19-year-old male victim as he walked through the area. Police said the group attempted to remove the victim’s property, then struck him repeatedly about the face and body with a metal object.

The incident was reported to the 108th Precinct; the victim was treated for minor injuries.
