Detectives are looking for a woman who robbed a Middle Village bank.  The incident took place at about 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 7 at the Astoria Bank located at 75-25 Metropolitan Ave.  Authorities said the thief — described as a white female with curly hair and a light complexion — walked into the bank, approached a teller and handed over a note demanding cash.  More...
