A pedestrian has been taken to the hospital after being hit by a school bus on Grand Avenue in Maspeth, police said.  According to police, the 32-year-old woman was crossing east to west near the intersection of Grand Avenue and 74th Street at 9:22 a.m. on April 11 when she was struck by a mini yellow school bus.  The bus driver remained at the scene.  More...

ROSE MUSCHITIELLO passed away on Saturday, April 9, at the age of 99. She was the beloved wife of Frank, who owned Prosper Fuel Oil Company. She was the loving mother of Augustino and his wife Geraldine, and Jerome and his late wife Rose.
