Holiday Craft & Gift Making Series @ Long Island City Library. Teens are invited to join after school to make holiday crafts and gifts from 2:45 to 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 13. Winter Snowflake Craft @ Woodhaven Library. Bring a little Christmas cheer to your child’s day by crafting winter snowflakes from 3 to 4 p.m. Woodhaven library is located at 85-41 Forest Parkway.

Holiday Talent Show @ Woodhaven Library. Children ages 8 to 15 are encouraged to watch or participate in the Holiday Talent Show between 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. All participants get prizes and the top three winners will receive trophies. Woodhaven library is located at 85-41 Forest Parkway.

FRIDAY, DEC. 9

Mother Goose @ Middle Village Library. Children and caregivers are invited for a morning of nursery rhymes from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Middle Village library is located at 72-31 Metropolitan Ave.

Burmese Noodle Pop Up @ 1080 Brew. Stop by between 7 to 11 p.m. for to experience chicken coconut noodles, beef shan and much more. 1080 Brew is located at 1080 Wyckoff Ave.

SATURDAY, DEC. 10

Social Dance @ Forest Hills Library. This dance class for adults is ensured to keep you on your toes while having fun. Social dance is between 10:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Forest Hills Library is located at 108-19 71st Ave.

Voices of New York Christmas Choral Concert @ Forest Hills Library.

Enjoy an afternoon of beautiful Christmas, Hanukkah and other seasonal choral music sung by the 25-adult community chorus. This concert will be from 2:30 to 3:45 p.m. Forest Hills Library is located at 108-19 71st Ave.

Visit Santa Claus @ Secret Garden Flower Shop Arts & Crafts. Bring your kids and cameras to take all your pictures with Santa in the secret garden scenery between 1 to 5 p.m. Visiting Santa is free. The Secret Garden is located at 64-02 Myrtle Ave.

SUNDAY, DEC. 11

Ridgewood Market Holiday Bazaar @ Gottscheer Hall. Bring your children, bring your dates because over 40 independent and local artisan vendors will be at the Ridgewood Market Holiday

Bazaar from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. There will be food, beer and alcohol, and local, artisan and vintage gifts. Gottscheer Hall is located at 657 Fairview Ave.

Salon Envy Holiday Open House @ Salon Envy. Join Salon Envy from 3 to 7 p.m. for their holiday spectacular where there will be complimentary consultations, mini service stations, raffles, refreshments and music. Salon Envy is located at 66-12 Fresh Pond Rd.

Karaoke Tuesday’s @ Ridgewood Ale House. Stop by between 9 p.m. to midnight for drinks and karaoke. Ridgewood Ale House is located at 5738 Myrtle Ave.

Christmas Tree Ornaments and Decorations @ Woodside Library. This family event offers Christmas tree ornament making and decorations for all to enjoy from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Woodside is located at 54-22 Skillman Ave.

WEDNESDAY, DEC. 14

Compost your food scraps @ Ridgewood. Turn your food scraps into a resource that will help nourish the city’s soil. Drop them off between 8 and 10 a.m. at the food scrap drop-off located on Fresh Pond Road between Madison and Putnam avenues.

ShapeUP NYC Yoga for Adults @ Ridgewood Library. Relax your mind, body and spirit with yoga for adults from 5 to 6 p.m. Space is limited and participation is at a first-come, first-served basis. Ridgewood Library is located at 20-12 Madison St.

Animation Nights New York: Dec Bijou @ 180 Maiden Lane. Enjoy an evening of independent animated shorts from around the world. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets for lounging on the indoor grass. Food, refreshments, wine and beer will also be available. • GLENDALE ALANON, a program for families and friends of alcoholics, meets every Wednesday night at Trinity Reformed Church, Palmetto Street and 60th Place, Ridgewood, Beginners meet at 7:30 p.m., followed by the regular meeting at 8:10 p.m.
