Fugitive armed robbers found hiding out at a Middle Village home, cops say
A young couple wanted for a violent home invasion in Washington State earlier this year were found by NYPD detectives hiding out in a Middle Village home last week.  Chloe Fontaine, 24, and Mateusz Rudnik, 27, were taken into custody on Dec. 9 by members of the NYPD Warrant Division at Rudnik’s last known place of residence on 58th Road between 76th and 77th streets.  More...

A preteen from Ridgewood was molested by a cab driver early Sunday morning, police said.  According to published reports, the 11-year-old girl left her Ridgewood home around 1 a.m. on Dec. 11 to visit a cousin’s house in Astoria. The Blau Weiss Gottschee (BWG) 2006 soccer group had a busy weekend which saw the end of the 2016 campaign, and a visit from the big man from the North Pole.
