Four people suffered minor injuries after a van and sedan collided at the corner of Roosevelt Avenue and 86th Street in Jackson Heights at around 4:30 a.m. last Saturday, Nov. 7, Fire Department sources said. One of the drivers, whose identity was not disclosed, was later arrested by police on drunk driving charges, it was noted. Responding to the accident were members of Engine Co. 299, Ladder Co. 130, Squad Co. 288, Rescue 4, the 115th Precinct and the NYPD Emergency Services Unit 10. All four victims were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of their injuries, which were not considered to be life-threatening, an FDNY source said. (photo: Joseph Epstein)
